Author is a theoretician and practitioner of contemporary ceramic art. Author currently developing his professional level at PhD studies, at the same time author is realizing his creative expressions by creating works for exhibitions all over the world, thus popularizing contemporary ceramics and its various aesthetic shapes.
Schneewelle is a artistic name of Atis Snevelis, as a reference to the artist Baltic German roots, a minority that has almost completely disappeared due to the twists and turns of history. Schneewelle is a artist ancestors family name.
